Principal's Message

Medlock Bridge community, 

Thank you for visiting the Medlock Bridge Elementary website. I am the proud principal of an amazing school! Our mission is to educate and inspire all students to become lifelong learners. We strive to meet the needs of our diverse learners by providing 21^st Century learning experiences, building strong community relationships, and fostering a safe, positive, and welcoming school climate.

When you walk the halls of Medlock Bridge Elementary, you will see vibrant examples of student learning. In classrooms, you will see students thinking critically about STEM explorations, collaborating in small groups, and participating in lessons based on the Science of Reading. You will see students fostering their creativity in Music and Art classes. You will see students maintaining healthy life habits in Physical Education and as part of Student Success Skills, our Social Emotional Learning curriculum. You will see students in the Media Center building their lifelong love of reading. When you speak with our faculty and staff you will witness our focus on teaching the "whole child", providing programming and enrichment that supports our students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. When you look at our students, you will see inspired, lifelong learners with solid foundations to pursue their chosen paths.

Medlock Bridge Elementary has established itself as a world class school, earning recognitions such as the 2014 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. We know you and your child will love our school as much as we do.
